It seems that tragedy may have been unavoidable. While singer Natalie Cole was undergoing kidney transplant surgery this week, her older sister, Cookie , passed away, according to reports . Apparently, Cookie had not been to the doctor in 30 years, and upon her recent visit, a cancerous spot was found on her lung
