Rasmussen, the mayor of Silverton, Oregan, is a 60-year-old software engineer and also a business owner who says he has over 20 years of experience as an elected official. But, now, Rasmussen might be adding reality TV star to his resume. Production company RDF USA is in talks for a pilot about the challenges Rasmussen faces as a transgendered person and the ups and downs of working with small-town government
